Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Your safari begins with an early morning pick up from your hotel or the airport before travelling to Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy a stop at the Uganda Equator for photographs before continuing through the scenic Ankole countryside. Upon arrival, head out for an afternoon game drive in search of zebras, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, impalas, topis, elands, warthogs, and many other wildlife species that inhabit the park.
Day 2: Boat Cruise and Return to Kampala
Begin the day with a relaxing boat cruise on Lake Mburo, where you’ll have an opportunity to observe hippos, Nile crocodiles, African fish eagles, kingfishers, and numerous water birds along the shoreline.
